WORLD'S LARGEST BLACKPOWDER GUN (.83 CALIBER)
Custom Make for Elephant Hunt in Botswana, Africa

"The test results are in.  I am preparing for an Elephant hunt in Botswana that will be done with my 8 bore (.83 caliber) muzzleloader.  I am shooting an 1105 grain short conical bullet that is sized to bore size with a hollow base seated on top of 350 grains equivalent of Pyrodex RS.  Before I found out about Microlon Products, I chronographed the load at 1545 f/s.  After treating the barrel with Microlon Gun Juice per your instructions and not changing anything else (same can of powder, bullets from the same casting and sizing system) I measured the velocity at 1655 f/s.  That is a 110 f/s increase in velocity due to the lubrication effect on Gun Juice.  The velocity increase translates into a muzzle energy increase from 5855ft-lb to 6719ft-lb.  Thank you for a great product.  I can't wait to try the other blackpowder Magic Bore Cleaner and UltraBlue Penetrating Gun Lube from Microlon Products."
G.W. "Wilkie" Gilbert
Fort Lauderdale, FL

Treating a barrel does not cause velocity to rise by its self, just as molly treatment of the bullets or barrel does not. What it does is by creating a supper smooth slick surface is to reduce chamber pressure, so allowing a powder increase to INCREASE velocity within safe limits.

The method I used when wetting patches was to charge an eye dropper then wet the patch when on the jag. This was for a completely cleaned and degreased barrel with all traces of metal fowling removed. I would wet a patch and scrub the warmed bore until the patch became dry, I would re-wet the existing patch as it would be already impregnated with the Microlon compound. I would use the first patch for the first 5 applications by now the patch would have a grey appearance and the bore a polished mirror like appearance. Bore resistance to the patch stroke would noticeable reduce after the first 3 or so wettings. I would then use a new patch for the next 5 applications; this patch would not develop a grey sheen. It should be noted the bore was dried and reheated between each separate patch wetting. The eye dropper stopped all premature evaporation of the fluid.

Now after 4 months my cleaning still only comprises of using a few drops of a Kriol/ shooters choice mix 1-2 on a Bore Snake. The first observation is as yet I have no traces of metal fowling in any of the 11 rifles treated. Indeed the bores still retain the same mirror like sheen. When it does become necessary to clean the bores using jags brushes bore form (forest) etc I will retreat each bore with a few wet patches on a warm barrel. As to how many only time will tell, it must be noted that none of my rifles are used for target or competition use. I have however fires several hundred rounds from the Hornet.

The other observation is when using the .22 semi auto for an extended period one night recently at maybe -10d c on the hill the cycling rate remained unchanged, the initial treatment have greatly improved the rate of fire and quietened the mechanism. I have not had a jam or failure to cycle a single round since treating it; this did happen on occasion with sub sonic ammo before treatment.

Keep pushing it, remember it was a struggle to get people to use an Over and Under shotgun and scope sights.

As I said before there are no down sides to this product only win-win.

"I'm delighted with the way Microlon worked.  I'm confident that Microlon Gun Juice will protect my molds from rust, prevent galling and wear without requiring additional lubricants and reduce, if not eliminate led particle accumulation.  I honestly couldn't ask for more from one product...:

"After a large amount of testing your products here is what we came up with.
Shotgun
We shot over a chronograph before using the product first. We used two types of ammo.  We used RIO ammo and KENT ammo.  Both advertised 1200 fps.  As our test the KENT and RIO with then shots witha Beretta 391 AUTO

As you can see quite a change in speed.  Now the testing really begins.  Lets try the Zoli-Z Gun Over and Under 12GA.  We used the load that I shoot most of the time in sporting clays.  We used Kent 12GA 1 oz 1200 fps.

As you can see from our tests.  A gain in speed and more constancy.

The next testing was with UltraBlue.  We pushed both guns to the limit (which I don't recommend doing).  With the Beretta Auto Loader we ran 1678 shells through the gun with no cleaning until we had a jam.

With the Over and Under Zoli-ZGun we shot 1800 rounds with the gun without cleaning or taking the chokes out.  The chokes screwed out fine, this is unheard of.  Again I don't recommend doing this but we did for testing purposes only.

We also did some pattern testing.  We found that there was a 4% to 8% better patterns with the gun juice."

"There are a lot of products on the market that make bold claims and I get to try a lot of them. Those that know me know that I only endorse products that meet or exceed the advertised expectations. When I met the folks from Microlon Products they were modest yet confident that their line of lubricants would meet my needs. I started with the Microlon Precision oiler lube on my bow. I then used it on all the door hinges in my house figuring that would be a great starter test. Nine months and counting the hinges are still squeak free. My favorite product so far is the Black Powder Kit containing the Ultra Blue Lube, Microlon Gun Juice, and Magic Bore Cleaner. I’ve been shooting black powder guns for 20 years now and have never had a product that would allow me to load shot after shot to the original load mark on my ram rod, nor has been easier to clean after shooting. I don’t ever have to worry about residue build up again! Microlon’s dry lubricant technology when applied properly will eliminate this problem and give you better accuracy shot after shot. The Ultra Blue Lube made breach plug removal a breeze. One by one I’m am treating all my firearms and archery tackle with Microlon Products. Here’s a tip for your customers I discovered. Coat all the bolt heads on your bow accessories and scopes. I hunt rain or shine and no longer have to worry about the effects Mother Nature will have on my gear. I plan to treat my truck, tractor, and ATV soon and will let you know the results. I could go on and on about this product. Hey Sportsmen; It’s a no brainier”.

"I used your Gun Juice on two of my guns, a very pitted Knight disc inline that I got for a song, and a new Bergara barrel for my wife's Encore rifle 30-06.  It did everything you folks said it would and more.  It improved the Knights accuracy from 4 inches at 100 yards to shooting through the same hole.  The Bergara barrel is now so smooth and slick, I can shoot 30 rounds through it, and it takes three patches to spit shine the barrel.  One to get out the crud, one dry, then one with lube on it.  Also your muzzleloader cleaner worked real well on cleaning the Knight disc, before I gun juiced it.  The 30-06 barrel shoots 2 inch groups at 300 yards using Barnes 130gr triple X.  I was going to load up some Berger bullets for accuracy, but why???  Great product, I'll be ordering more, I have a 257 Roberts Encore barrel coming from Fox Ridge Outfitters.  Thank you.

"For the past several years I have been using Gun Juice and UltraBlue.  I have been both pleased and impressed with the results of these products.  They have enabled me to enhance both accuracy and velocity, thus improving my shot.  A few of the shots I have accomplished using these products are (1)  5 shot groups under 1/2" at 100 yards with a muzzleloader. (2) Killing prairie dogs over 200 yards with a muzzleloader and (3) 5 shot groups under .100 at 100 yards with a 22-250.  I have recommended and will continue to recommend the use of these products to friends and fellow sportsmen.  Thanks, your products have provided me with the means to be a more accurate shooter."

FISHING REEL TREATMENT

"As an avid fisherman my reels are constantly exposed to the elements of water, sand and an occasional trip to the river bottom. After coating my reel with the Microlon Precision Oiler my casting distance has increased
dramatically and the reduced friction is amazing! Once a year I do a complete reel disassembly and remove all original grease and use only the Microlon Precision Oil. One flick of the wrist and the reel seems to spin forever."

ARCHERY TREATMENT

"Hello, My name is Don "Duckman" Williams. I am a Master level Archery Coach at Schupbach Sporting Goods in Jackson Michigan. I have been shooting cross bow competitively for three years.

Through thousands of practice arrows, I was searching for a good rail lube. I needed something that would last for many shots and cut down on serving wear. During my search I tried an endless number of oils, waxes, and different greases for rail lube. My search came to an end where it actually began, Microlon. This was the oil lube that came with my Ten Point Cross Bow. The Microlon doesn't change with temperature and it stays on the rail much longer than any of the other products I tried. It seems to soak into the aluminum Rail and hang there. I tested every product on the market and the Microlon is simply the best."

HOME USE

"

We have used microlon for everything. I use the oilers on my sewing machine which I purchased in 1987 and it sews like brand new and I use it on my serger. My husband has microloned every motorcycle we have owned, every car or van we have owned, in fact everything we have owned that has a motor including the lawn mowers. I don't know how many people he has convinced to microlon their motorcycle or vehicle. We used to purchase from John Staudt in Los Angeles but we don't get down there as much as we used to do. I have just ordered another kit for us and some more oilers. My husband keeps giving the oilers away to friends to try and then we don't seem to get them back!

My husband became interested in Microlon due to an article he read many years ago in a car magazine that told the story of French engineers who tested your product and he was sold! We love it and wouldn't do without it!

"I recently had the opportunity to put Microlon to the test and thought you would appreciate hearing the results.  Last week I was attempting to replace lamps used in a 5 HP fountain.  The fountain is anchored in the middle of a pond and the lamps used to illuminate the spray from the fountain are contained in water tight fixtures just below the water surface.  While attempting to remove one of the retaining bands sealing the lamp and the fixture, I was unable to remove the nut due to heavy corrosion and oxidation on the threads of the clamp.  I tried various products including Liquid Wrench (aerosol), WD40 and heat from a propane torch.  The nut would not budge preventing me from unloosening the retaining ring on the fixture.  The more I tried to turn the nut the more damage I was doing in deforming the ring and possibly damaging it.  I eventually gave up and resorted to sawing the band off the fixture with a sawsall and purchasing a new band from the manufacturer in New Jersey.  Quite honestly, I had forgotton that I had a can of Microlon aerosol which I never tried using at the time I was trying to take the retaining ring off.  Out of curiosity, I took the damaged ring and sprayed Microlon over the nut and threads.  The nut started to turn although there was a fair amount of resistance.  After backing up the nut on the threads, I sprayed a second coat and allowed it to penetrate for about a minute.  That did the trick.  The nut started turning very freely and after about six turns of the wrench you could turn it with your fingers.  Very impressive!!  I wish I would have remembered to try Microlon first.  It would have saved an hour of my time not to mention having to buy a new retaining ring and waiting for five days for it to arrive.  Great product!"

REFRIGERATION

"Just installed the ICE into my 1999 GMC Jimmy prior to installing the air temp coming from the center A/C vents was 51ºF, after installing the ICE the temp change was incredible it dropped below 38ºF and we needed to turn down the blower speed to keep from freezing.  I tried to monitor the compressor temperature but was difficult due to the engine fan blowing hot air in the way on the infra-red temperature monitor, but it did look as if we had a 10º drop in the operation of the compressor also the high side pressure was reduced from 160 psi to 150 psi.  The outside temperature and humidity was 93ºF/89%.  I would believe the results speak for themselves as the product does have a positive effect on the overall performance of the HVAC system and would highly recommend it.

MARINE

"As you know I am a certified mechanic with a GM history as well as other over the road equipment.  I am also certified refrigeration installer.  At the beginning of this year's boating season, I treated the engine and drives on my 370 Searay aft cabin.  The process in a boat is a bit longer than the cars.  Things are harder to get at and we all tend to be overly neat, but that's boating.  Well the good news, I treated the boat just before we left for a weekend run.  First leg about one and half hours, the boat sat for 2 days before the trip back which took same time.  Going there I checked my running speed 17 to 19 knots @ 3500 to 3700 RPM's.  Coming back 22.9 knots @ 3600 RPM's.  We were definitely using less fuel on the return trip.  Other things that I experienced after and during treatment, you could immediately hear the engine smooth out while it was idling at the dock during treatment.  I can also see a difference in the ease and smoothness in starting after the treatment.

Since I treated my boat and traveling with a few of the neighbors, they also saw the difference as we discussed what was happening on an on-going basis.  I have now treated an additional four boats and will be doing three more this weekend.  Your product works and we are all happy.  Thanks again."

"I write this letter a little late but still satisfied.  This past summer I purchased two large V8 Microlon engine kits and two automatic transmission treatment kits.  I read all about how this is a one-time engine treatment and figured I knew all about engines.  Well I guess I have to admit after talking with you I forgot one simple thing.  Boat engines run cooler than cars and trucks, the thermostats are set at 160 not 180 degrees.  The net result is it took me 12 hours of running time before I saw any change.  The change I saw now is running 300 rpm less and about 3 more miles per hour faster.  I cruise at the same speeds as always but 300 rpm less, my gas was lasting longer and the boat was running smoother.  I felt you needed to hear that you were right.  If I was a little handier around engines I would have restricted the water flow and make the engines run warmer.  Next boat I guess I will ask for some help.  The boat treated was a 1999 37' SeaRay Express.  Thanks again for the great product."

MOTORCYCLE

"ASR Motorsports has started using Microlon now, and let my say, Microlon is incredible . Building 50 to 450 cc racing motors, we are always looking for ways to reduce friction. There was a measurable increase in horse power after using Microlon. Our 50 cc motors dyno at 14hp after assembling with Micronlon. We gained 1.4 HP! That is incredible considering the small displacement."

Ducati Test Results
The bike is a year 2000 Ducati ST2 (944 Engine) with 34,400 miles on the clock (it had 2295 when I bought it 5 years ago).  The bike is totally standard except for a 14 tooth gearbox sprocket.  Its serviced annyally by me with Rich of Louigi Moto adjusting the valves if they need doing.  The bike was taken to Tim Blakemore in Bristol and put on the Dyno.  Ducati figures are 83 hp at the crank.  The actual reading at the back wheel is 72.81 hp.  You will notice that the revs are not on the readout.  This is because the fairing needs to be removed to connect the dyno and I couldn't be arsed as it is a pig to remove.  I then added the Microlon as per instructions.  22 fl oz of Microlon was put in the engine and 2 fl oz in the fuel tank. I then road the bike on the motorway for 140 miles with the revs at 4000 - 5000 RPM.  There was no increase in engine temperature, as I expected, during the running in period.  The bike was then tested again with a reading of 77.02 as the result.  The net gain of approx 6%.  The only was to get a gain like this on a standard bike is by fitting a Power Commander at 279.00 Euros plus set up and the improvement on my bike would probably be less than this.

On the way home I had a little play.  I like to come out of the bends on the torque and am sure there is more there (the torque results are being emailed to me).  I will forward them as soon as I have them.  The gear change is noticeably smoother and the throttle snappier.  I also think the fuel consumption is less but will confirm this in a week or so.

Tim Blakemore is a motorcycle service engineer and tuning specialist in turbo and nitrous.  He also has a drag bike which he races.

Richard is a Ducati specialist and prepares race bikes for many teams.  He is well respected in the racing scene and a very popular track day instructor.

Both of them were very skeptical of the product as they have seen and tested many such "Performance Products" in the past but both are impressed by the results and I am sure they would both be prepared to stock the product especially after Rich tests the fork treatment.

SMALL ENGINE

After treating my son’s 1974 Honda ST90 (which is a 89cc four stroke engine) we saw a faster top end, and a quieter engine at idle. Top end was about 38mph with my light weight son on it now it will top out at about 41mph. Along with a quieter engine it also eliminated alot of engine vibration.

"...Microlon is a product that I'm sure a lot of you car buffs have not heard of.  I was introduced to it some time ago and just recently decided to give it a try.  I was planning a road trip to South Carolina and Florida and determined this would be the opportune time.  The vehicle that I decided to drive was a 1993 Dodge Stealth RT with 4,900 miles on it and was getting 23 miles to the gallon on the freeway.  It also had a slight lifter noise that is prone to that engine.  After applying the oil, transmission, and the gas treatments right before the trip I was getting 25 miles to the gallon and the lifter noise is gone.  The products work and I am going to do the same to my other vehicles."

Kenworth W-900

"Thank you for allowing us to work with you and test your Microlon products.  Allow me first to give you a description of the customer who has agreed to test his big rig.

The customer is a local trucking company which runs about 100 diesel trucks is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  They spend in the area of $60,000.00 per month on fuel.  The truck he has chosen to test is a Kenworth W-900 with a Cummins diesel 16-liter engine.  This company tracks everything about their trucks and had it available on computer when we needed to talk about baseline numbers.  The truck had 140,000 miles when we began the test and history shows that the truck was getting 5.8 MPG.  The customer understands all the benefits of Microlon in helping extend the life of an engine.  It is truly unbelievable that a one-time treatment could be so powerful.  But again history shows us your customers with 1,500,000 miles and still running strong.  Let me get back on track here, although we all understand the product, we all seem to focus on the fuel savings especially during these times of fuel at $2.00 per gallon and above the talk of $3.00 and more.

After discussion we agreed for the first test we would only treat the engine, fuel system, differentials and wheel bearings.  We decided to hold back on the transmission at this time.  The truck arrived at our garage on May 1, 2005, we started with oil and filter change, we then treated the differntials with 4 oz of C90 each.  We put 2 oz of C90 in each wheel bearing.  We treated the engine with 128 oz of MIL and 24 oz of C90.  Because of the volume required, the driver would be required to add the remaining 128 of MIL after he completed driving 400 miles.  This was also monitored over the computer with the home base.

Prior to any treatment the truck has been experiencing an injector knock, of which the driver claimed disappeared in the first 50 miles of driving.  The driver also experienced a quieter running engine and smoother operation.

The truck has now traveled 3000 miles since treating.  Although we were hoping to get a 10% fuel increase and see numbers around 6.4 MPG, we are happy to say the number is staying constant at 7 MPG.  That computes to a 20% increase in fuel economy.

Looking back at the numbers of $60,000.00 fuel consumption monthly, we see a $12,000.00 monthly savings or $144,000.00 directly to the bottom line.  Plus any additional savings received from the up time of the vehicle because of the reduced friction and wear and tear.

Needless to say the company and its owner are very pleased, and expect to install the treatment on the balance of the fleet.  We will probably treat the transmissions going forward looking for another .25 MPG increase.  I will suggest we try treating 10 to 20 vehicles per month.  I believe the customer-shipping schedule will determine the availability of the trucks.

Thank you again.

1998 Ford Taurus

I recently purchased an engine only kit of Microlon for my six cylinder Taurus.
I tracked 7 tanks of fuel before I added your product. My average mileage per tank (I ran it down until my fuel light went on) was 243 miles per tank (16 gal. tank) 15.1875 miles per gallon.

I tracked 7 tanks of fuel after adding the product and have an average mileage per tank of 268 miles or 16.75 miles per gallon. Looks like about a 10% increase.

I'm still tracking my numbers though. When I recorded my before numbers it was cooler outside (no AC running). My after numbers were recorded when it was hotter outside, AC running much more. I think I have better than a 10% improvement. I have 2 tanks recorded recently with little AC usage. I'm averaging about 17.02 miles per gallon. I will try your transmission treatment and see if it will further improve my miles per gallon.

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I was told about your Microlon products in February of this year, it took me a while to decide to try them; quite honestly it seemed to good to be true. Well I am writing to tell you I am a believer. I own a 2001 Chrysler 2001PT Cruiser and love it. That is probably why it took so long to decide to put anything into it. But as you know the cost of gas isn’t going down and your product is a one time buy, so I did it. It has proven to be exactly what you said it is. I started with the engine only treatment and later added the transmission treatment. The window sticker says 21 mpg in the city, 25 mpg on the highway with all the disclaimers about how we drive and what is in the car. Since I purchased the car I never made those numbers. Well I am writing to tell you I now get between 20.90 mpg and 22.54 mpg in the city all the time, and my highway numbers have been around 26.50 mpg to 27.50 mpg my heavy foot probably is holding that down. I still haven’t decided to use the wheel bearing grease or the power steering fluid but if you tell me it will make a difference I will be willing to add to an already good set of numbers. Thank you for the good products, I feel I found them in a time of need with gas prices being what they are.

2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 4.0

Experience with this product has been great.  Treated the engine then hit the road for a 60+ mile trip.  Once on the highway, fuel economy reading was at its normal 22-23 mpg at 2500 rpm right on the nose at 74 miles per hour.  By last 15 miles, fuel economy reading was showing 25-27 mpg and rpm dropping slightly to about 2450.  Having consistently had 24-27 mpg since then with 2450 rpm at the same speed.  That's a 10% savings on gas which for me is about $300 per year.

Horsepower is good in this car to begin with, but do notice better acceleration from a dead stop and even more noticeable going about 40 when I step on it.

I have a 1992 APV Chevrolet with over 150,000 miles. I put in Microlon Engine Treatment & Trans Treatment at the start of the summer approx. March 1st. The engine is a 3.8 6cyl and has always performed well. After the Microlon Treatments the engine was a lot smoother and the gas mileage showed improvement. The situation that has convinced me of the value of the product occurred a week ago coming back from the local gun club. My engine temp immediately, went up and my engine light came on. I was on a dirt road 7 miles from the closest town. I could see nothing wrong so I drove the van to the nearest gas station 7 miles away. To my surprise we discovered the freeze plug in the back of the engine had a ¾” hole rusted thru. The engine had no coolant for approximately 7 miles. I had the vehicle towed to a garage to determine how bad the situation was or had I destroyed the engine. To my surprise and the garage mechanics the engine was fine. I had it repaired am still driving it. I do believe the Microlon saved my engine.

1988 Chevrolet Corvette

I am the owner of a 1988 Corvette coupe with appx. 19 thousand miles. The car is equipped with the performance package and is driven like most corvettes, a little hard. The best mileage I have ever got was 23.5 per gallon on a trip to Kentucky. Driving at the speed limit or maybe a little more. I put Microlon engine treatment and trans treatment in appx. May.1st. This year I drove to the muscle car drags in Stanton, Mi. in July 300 miles round trip and to my amazement I got 27.3 mpg at the speed limit plus a little more. The engine is smoother and the city mileage has gone up 2 to 3 mpg. The car is equipped with a computer read out on mileage, which makes it easy to know the mpg. It is easy to Recommend Microlon.

2004 VW Touareg

I purchased your Engine treatment for my 2004 VW Touareg, V-8 and am quite happy with an increase of between 10% to 12%, seems to vary but the SUV is heavy and has a 310 HP engine that I like to use. In our conversation you said if I was to try the transmission treatment I would see additional improvement. In checking there is nowhere to add the fluid the transmission is sealed. So I decided to take your advice and leave it alone. I am getting better gas mileage and enjoying the savings. Thanks.

Interior Partnership Group

After having used Microlon in our company vehicles I feel compelled to write of my complete satisfaction and amazement with your product.

I will admit we were skeptical at first with all the claims in the website, literature and your staff. After all some things sound too good to be true, but with this product it is not the case.

The use of Microlon in our gas trucks was most noticeable in much smoother idling and a perceptible increase in acceleration performance. Gas mileage improved on average from 14.1 to 16.2 mpg.

The biggest surprise was the use in our Diesel delivery trucks. All drivers, many of which did not know we used the product commented on the all around increase of performance. Use of Microlon, has resulted in easier starting, improved acceleration and lower rpm's at highway speeds. Fuel mileage increased 14.2% on our Ford V-8, which has 30,000 miles.

I am a firm believer in preventative maintenance and taking the utmost care in my company equipment. I also apply the same philosophy in my personal life and as such will use and recommend Microlon for my boats, tractors, home generator and other mechanical equipment.

Please keep me informed of other uses of this great product.

Thanks.

2004 Envoy

I purchased your Microlon Engine Treatment for my SUV. I have a 2004 Envoy V-8 with a 3.73 rear axle, purchased new earlier this year. I am an industrial salesman on the road 40 thousand miles a year. My hope was that Microlon would produce better gas mileage as you suggested and all I can say is Thank You. We started with the engine only treatment and the knowledge that the best mpg to date was 16.5. Attached are my purchases over the last 7000 miles.

I have purchased the Transmission Treatment and will report the results after the recommended 100 miles. I will probably wait 4 or 5 tanks to make sure it is consistent. It looks like I am receiving a 10% savings in mileage so far. It converts like this: 40,000 miles used yearly 4,000 = 10% savings. At an average of 18.1 mpg = 4000 Divided by 18.1 = 221 gallons of gas saved. At $2.00 per gallon that saves me $442.00 per year.
I also understand that my driving habits and the load I am caring in the vehicle will also affect mileage.

Thank you again.

I look forward to adding to these numbers after installing the transmission fluid.

AIRCRAFT

I am a VERY satisfied user of Microlon aviation and automobile products.  I own a F33A Bonanza with a continental IO 520 engine that has 1350 hundred hours on it.  The compressions are still holding like a new engine and I do nothing but change oil every 50 hours of flight time.  The TBO is 1650 hours on the engine and it appears that it will continue to run far beyond that.  Which means a savings of alot of money considering that a new engine or factory remanufactured engine costs $35,000.  So every hour that the engine goes beyond the TBO is money in the bank.
